Taiwan's EVA Tecumseh has announced that the historical simulation game Sankoku 8 Remake (PlayStation5 / PlayStation4 / Nintendo Switch / Steam) has been decided to be released in early 2024, with the simultaneous release of the official website and trailer. The game will also be exhibited at the Tokyo Game Show 2023 (TGS2023), which will be held at the Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Japan) from 21st September (Thu) to 24th September (Sun), 2023, and the game will be available for purchase at the Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Mihama-ku, Japan).
Officially, this game is based on the classic historical simulation game "Three Kingdoms VIII" released in 2001, "Three Kingdoms VIII Power Enhancement Edition" as a brand new remake, with many new elements added. The game not only retains the advantages of Sankokuji VIII's "Full Warlord System" and "Full Age Script", but also uses the latest technology that EGAC is proud of to bring even more refined graphics and a completely updated game system. Spanning 20 years, Sankokuji VIII will be the latest instalment in the Sankokuji series, recreating a classic.
The game will also be exhibited at TGS2023, which will be held from 21st September (Thu) to 24th September (Sun) at the Makuhari Messe in Japan. In addition to a live gameplay video of the game, a special "Sankokuji 8 Remake" "Kongming Fan" will also be distributed at the Tecumseh booth. In addition, the "KOEI TECMO LIVE! in TGS2023" live streaming programme will be held on 22 September 2023 (Fri) at ETGM to introduce the game and bring the latest information about the game in addition to the live gameplay.
